Lyrics

[Intro]
Yeah, open your heart, listen close
There’s a better road than the one you know
[Verse 1]
I was carrying the weight like a stone in my coat
Smiling for the crowd while I barely could cope
Then a friend said, “Brother, you don’t have to pretend
There’s a hand reaching down, there’s a Savior who bends”
I took one step, then another one came
Found mercy in the middle of my shame
Not a bargain, not a trick, not a temporary flame
Jesus called me by my real name
[Pre-Chorus]
If you’re tired of running, if your heart feels worn
If you’re looking for a reason to face the morning
You don’t need perfect words, you don’t need a plan
Lift your eyes, open up, and
[Chorus]
Try Him now, let the old walls fall
Try Him now, He can hear your call
When the road gets hard and you don’t know how
Grace is reaching for you, try Him now
Try Him now, no need to hide
Try Him now, let Him walk beside
Take a breath, take a step, make a choice somehow
Hope is closer than you think, try Him now
[Verse 2]
I’ve seen doors close, I’ve seen good friends leave
I’ve had nights where it was hard to believe
But the promise stayed steady when the feelings ran thin
He was patient with my questions, He was there in the din
Now I speak for the ones with a storm in their chest
For the single mom praying for strength and rest
For the young one who thinks they have nothing left
Your story isn’t over, you are not forgotten yet
[Pre-Chorus]
If you’re tired of running, if your heart feels worn
If you’re looking for a reason to face the morning
You don’t need perfect words, you don’t need a plan
Lift your eyes, open up, and
[Chorus]
Try Him now, let the old walls fall
Try Him now, He can hear your call
When the road gets hard and you don’t know how
Grace is reaching for you, try Him now
Try Him now, no need to hide
Try Him now, let Him walk beside
Take a breath, take a step, make a choice somehow
Hope is closer than you think, try Him now
[Bridge]
No gold chain can buy what He gives for free
No past is too deep for His mercy
From the barrio porch to the midnight train
He brings dry hearts back to life again
Say yes in the quiet, say yes through the doubt
The light you were chasing is calling you out
[Final Chorus]
Try Him now, let the old walls fall
Try Him now, He can hear your call
When the road gets hard and you don’t know how
Grace is reaching for you, try Him now
Try Him now, no need to hide
Try Him now, let Him walk beside
Take a breath, take a step, make a choice somehow
Hope is closer than you think, try Him now
[Outro]
Try Him now
He’s been waiting with mercy
Try Him now
