Read how Jesus rose and the grave couldn’t win.
Read about Moses standing next to the sea,
Daniel in the lions’ den still believed.
Three in the fire, but they weren’t alone,
Joseph went from prison all the way to the throne.
Every page reminding me God stays faithful,
Every chapter showing His mercy is able.

Because temptation doesn’t check what day it is,
The enemy stays busy trying to mess with your head.
So I keep that Word planted deep in my heart,
When the lies start flying, I know where to start.
Psalm when I’m hurting, Proverbs for wisdom,
Gospels show Jesus and how we should live ’em.
Romans reminds me salvation is grace,
Revelation tells me Christ wins at the end of the race.
This ain’t decoration collecting some dust,
This is God’s Word and His Word I can trust.
