God said move, I was asking Him why,
Wanted every detail before I would try.

Stopped telling God what made sense to me.

Sometimes following Christ means accepting a loss.

Feelings come second when I know what I heard—

I’ve done it myself, tried to bend His direction,
Called my own desire spiritual connection.
But God sees motives underneath every word,
So now before action—**obedience first.**

Noah built before a drop hit the ground,
Abraham moved when God said leave town.
Peter dropped nets when the Savior said, “Come,”
Faith gets legs when obedience runs.
I don’t need applause for doing what’s right,
Don’t need everybody understanding my life.
If Heaven said it, then that settles the verse—

Sometimes obedience means closing that door,
Walking from something you’ve been praying for.
Sometimes it means forgiving somebody again,
Doing what’s right when revenge could win.
Sometimes it means giving when money gets tight,
Sometimes staying quiet when you wanna fight.
Sometimes saying “no” when the whole crowd says “yes,”
Trusting God knows what will ultimately bless.

Jesus in the garden showed us the way,
Facing that cross, still willing to say,
“Not My will”—that surrender went deep,
Love stayed obedient all the way to Calvary.
So when my flesh wants to put itself first,
I remember my Savior and remember my worth.
My life belongs to Christ from the day of rebirth—
